I tried to play poker there but the games they had were very limited. The food was just mediocre. I will say the staff we dealt with were very nice to us. We played a bit of keno and those people who ran the keno room were a blast. Texas Station is off the beaten path so unless you want to stay there and go nowhere else or have a car, forget it.     • When I visit Las Vegas, I usually stop by one of my favorite casinos, the Texas Station. I absolutely love this place. It has so many features and things you can do at this place.

      One is the actual hotel. It is very spacious, nice size television, and as low as $37.

      Another thing is of course, the gaming area. How tempting it is to at least play one of the games, and there is so many to choose from.

      Like, bingo, keno lounge, the poker room, slot and video poker, table games, and the race and sports book. My all time favorite is the keno lounge.

      It seems that I can never go wrong with that. Their food is great too with so many restaurants to choose from.

      If you ever go there try hitting up the Texas Oyster Bar or even Austin’s Steakhouse. Once you try that you’ll never want to leave ...

      Now, with the entertainment, they have a Regal Theater which is magnificent, a bowling center, and also a Kids Quest. The Kids Quest is so cool because its a drop off center for your kids.

      When your out doing your thing you can take them to Kids Quest for

      a drop off price. Which is around $6.

      75 an hour. Yeah its pretty stiff, but how cool is it to just drop the kids off for a couple of hours while you go off and be an adult.

Texas station is one of the casinos that are flooded with locals. It may not seem so, but it’s a really bad neighborhood. Flooded with gang activity.
